ABOUT KNAL! FESTIVAL:“Did you know that the Big Bang theory was developed in Leuven? In 1931, professor Georges Lemaître's theory about the 'primeval atom' shook science to its foundations. Today, 90 years later, Leuven thought it was a good reason to celebrate with a cultural Big Bang called Knalfestival! Think expositions, immersive music experiences, inspiring events, ... in which wonder at the cosmos plays a central role.”
